Maji-Tech’s first-class fleet of survey, borehole drilling and related equipment is suitable for the most challenging conditions. We currently have nine drilling rigs in operation throughout East Africa. These nine PRD rotary percussion rigs, each mounted on a 10-ton 4x4 truck, can drill an 8-inch diameter borehole to depths of over 250 meters.

Our deepest gratitude is due to the businesses and foundations that have, in support of our overall mission, given generously to build Maji-Tech’s capacity by providing heavy-duty drilling equipment. Each drilling unit consists of a deep-capacity drilling rig, a support truck and accessories. Depending upon environmental factors, each drilling unit can drill as many as 4 wells per month or 48 water wells per year.
